Our little company may have started as more of a joke than as a real business, but here we are thriving! In 2024, I began trapping predators on our farm in Northwest Arkansas with the sole goal of helping to improve our wild turkey population, but I was also raised to never let anything go to waste if it could be used. With that in mind, I started filling our freezer with a wide variety of unusual meats and started tanning the hides from everything I caught. Pretty soon, I had a stack of beautiful fur pelts, but had nothing to do with them and absolutely no experience making fur products.
I started making fur can coolers and really hit my stride making "Make Mullets Great Again" fur can coolers and "Emotional Support Beer" fur can coolers. I gave a few of those out to friends and family, but it was never really a business. Then in 2025, we were sittting around at Christmas time, joking about my new hobby and accidentally invented the Boudreaux's Cooter Cover! Bam, the business was born! Since then, we have expanded our product line to all manner of fur products, but the goal is still the same. We sustainably harvest predators on our farm and utilize their fur to make beautiful items for our customers.
